Ingredients

15-20 minutes
4 serve
  1. 1 cupRagi flour
  2. 1 cupBajra flour
  3. 2 tbspcurd
  4. 1/2 tspsalt(salt to taste)
  5. 1/2 cupfinely chopped onion
  6. 1/2 cuppaneer (grated)
  7. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1/2black pepper
  9. 1 cupbeatroot grated /beetroot pure
  10. 1/2 tspSome ghee
  11. Ghee/ oil (optional)

Cooking Instructions

15-20 minutes

    In a large bowl, take 1 cup Bajra flour, Ragi flour, cumin seeds, black pepper, onion, paneer Curd, 1/2 tsp ghee and salt.
    mix well....

    Further add (grated beetroot) / prepared beetroot paste, mix well...

    knead the dough well adding water if required.

    Knead to smooth and soft dough.
    now grease 1 tsp oil and rest the dough for 2-3 minutes.
    further pinch a ball sized dough, roll and flatten it.
    also dust with some flour.

    Further roll it in a thin circle like chapati or paratha.
    now on a hot tawa place the rolled chapati and cook for a minute.

    Furthermore, when the base is partly cooked, flip the beetroot chapati.
    also spread ½ tsp oil / ghee and press slightly both the sides.
    flip again once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly.

    Finally, serve beetroot chapati with sabji, curry curd, raita, chutney and sauce..
