Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 bowlbasmati rice
  • 1 tbsppeas (matar)
  • 1 tbspcarrot finely chopped
  • 1 tbspghee
  • 4Clove
  • 2Bay leaves
  • As Per TasteSalt
  • As RequiredWater

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak rice for 1/2 an hour.
    Now in a pan add ghee and heat then add clove, bay leaves.

    Now add peas and carrot mix well. Add soaked and drained rice and give a good mix. Add water and salt to the pan and cover the lid. Cook for exactly 15 minutes in low flame.

    Switch off the flame give a light mix. Cover the lid again. Keep it for 15 minutes. Gajar matar pulao is ready to Serve.
