Steps

Boil 3 cups each of maize and beans for 15 mins in a pressure cooker. Allow pressure to cool.

In a separate pan, add two tablespoons of vegetable oil. Cook till hot

Throw in your sliced onions with pepper and garlic and cook till onions semi golden brown.

Add the maize and beans with tomatoes. Stir in medium heat to mix the ingredients. Then add the carrots

Let it simmer for 10 mins and then squeeze a lemon and add ½ cup of water for stew
