I wanted to think up a recipe using shishito peppers that would be easy and work in bentos.
Don't over-cook the shishito peppers. They'll be tastier if you stop while they're still crispy.

Take the stems off the shishito peppers and rinse quickly. Cut the chikuwa into 2-3mm slices. Combine the ★ ingredients.

Heat a small pan and add sesame oil. Stir fry the chikuwa, then add the shishito peppers and continue stir frying.

Stir fry over low-medium heat slowly until browned, then add the combined ★ ingredients and continue cooking. Add the sesame seeds, mix through, and it's done.
