Roasted Garlic

This is so lovely when mixing in to butter to create your own garlic butter. You can also use it as is and have your own garlic paste 😋.

This is so lovely when mixing in to butter to create your own garlic butter. You can also use it as is and have your own garlic paste 😋.
Steps
- 1
Place cloves on cutting board and slice the top off. Make sure you can see all the cloves. Then clean around them.
- 2
Sprinkle with salt and drizzle with olive oil. (I would suggest not being heavy handed with the salt).
You can at this point lay your fresh herbs directly on top. I did not. Then close the foil.
- 3
Place in the preheated oven for 50 minutes at 180 degrees. Remove from oven and allow to cool. All done 😋
(You can keep this in your fridge for two weeks or in your freezer for 3 months).
- 4
Additional: Once cool, squeeze out then add parsley and butter and mix together to make your own garlic butter. Goes absolutely perfect with homemade bread, basting meat or veggie skewers.
