Steps

Pressure cook black chickpeas in salt water for 4-5 whistles or till soft.

In a pan take oil, when oil becomes hot add cumin seeds & saute.Than add pureed onion & saute till golden, add ginger -garlic paste & pureed tomatoes, & saute till oil is released.

Add all the spices & cook for 5 minutes. Add boiled black chickpeas & 2-3 tb.sp of hot water. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Garnish with chopped coriander & serve hot with rice or poories. Here I have served black chickpea curry on a bed of rice.
