Take wheat flour and maida, salt, turmeric powder mix everything well together. Now add a little water at a time and knead a little thin dough and spread a little oil over it.Keep aside for 30 minutes.

Wash the dal 3-4 times then soak the dal enough water for 3-4 hours. Transfer the soaked dal into the cooker add water and turmeric powder, oil mix it well. Close the lid and cook on medium flame until 4-5 whistle.

Now strain the excess water with the help of a strainer and mash it nicely.

Add gudh mix it and turn on the flame and cook dal on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes or until it thickens up. Turn off the flame.

Now add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder mix it well. Puran is ready

Make a Puran Poli-
Take a small ball of dough and dip it in dry flour. Now make pari/ small cavity, stuff puran and close up the pari from all sides. Dip the ball in dry flour once more and roll the poli. Roll it carefully so that puran won't come out. - 7
Heat up a nonstick tawa on a medium heat when the tawa is enough hot place the poli on it. When small bubbles begin to appear on upper side flip the poli over. Spread ghee on the poli. Flip the poli over and spread ghee on the other side too. When the poli roasted well from the both sides. Take out the pan. Puran poli is ready.

Puran Poli is ready to serve with milk or ghee.
