Soak rice for few hours.

Separate the onion into white and green.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add in onion white and fry till translucent.

Add in ginger garlic and stir well.

Add in drained rice and onion greens and stir well.

Add in all the remaining ingredients.

Cook till moisture evaporates.

Cook covered on dum for 10-12 minutes.

Serve hot.
