Black currant (Violet) Shrikhand

Boil 1.5 to 2 litres of full fat milk and make hung curd.

Take hung curd, sugar and cream in a sieve and make plain shrikhand and chill it.

Take 500 gms fresh black grapes, wash it well. Make pieces of 10 - 15 grapes and make pulp of rest in a blender. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and stir it on gas till thick consistency.you can add 2- 3 drops of black currant or mixfruit assence, if you wish to.

Add some crush to the plain shrikhand and give marble effect. Enjoy Violet Shrikhand as a fasting recipe or as per your choice.
