Babugosha or Indian pears is a lovely fruit in raw form. It can be cooked and preserved for few days in the freeze. I have prepared it in laccha form. Hope it will be liked by all. #playoff #goldenapron23

Rinse babugosha thoroughly with water. Peel off the skin. Grate babugosha slices with hand grater with medium size holes.

In a nonstick pan, transfer grated babugosha. Add all the ingredients, salt and sugar. Cook in medium low heat with constant stirring.

Cook till the syrup becomes dry and detaches the pan. Transfer in a serving bowl and enjoy with bread or roti.
