Pork Fajitas in Tomato Sauce
I've always made pork fajitas sautéed, but this time I decided to add tomato sauce. The result was something special.
Steps
- 1
Slice the pork into thin strips. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Let it marinate for a few minutes.
- 2
While the pork marinates, cut the garlic, onions, and peppers into thin julienne strips and set aside.
- 3
Heat the pork lard in a skillet over high heat. Sauté the pork strips until well browned.
- 4
Add the garlic, onions, and peppers. Continue to sauté over high heat.
- 5
Once the vegetables are well sautéed, reduce the heat to medium and add the tomato sauce and pork broth. Cook for about 10 minutes over medium-low heat.
- 6
Done.
