Steps

Assemble ingredients for Kofta.
Crumble paneer, mash potato. - 2
Chop Taro Root Bulbs into medium size cubes, marinade with salt for around 10 minutes and wash very nicely, wash 2-3 times by rubbing with salt and then wash thoroughly with water to get rid from the excessive starch, keep aside.
Then Blanch taro root cubes for 3-4 minutes and keep aside. - 3
Mix crumbled paneer + mashed potato + Garam masala + salt + red chilli powder + maida and it will form into dough.
Grease palms and make medium size balls / Kofta. - 4
Deep fry Koftas till golden brown and keep aside.

In moderately heated pan add mustard oil, allow to heat, add Nigella seeds and allow to sizzle, then add chopped Taro Root + little salt + green chilli + potato cubes and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add turmeric powder + red chilli powder + cumin powder + coriander powder + little water and sauté for 4-5 minutes under medium heat.

Add water and cook for 5-6 minutes till taro root softens. Add the paneer balls / Koftas + Garam masala powder and cook further for 3-4 minutes.

Add sugar + Ghee, simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes and dish is done. After cooling, Koftas will absorb gravy and plump up. So need to add water accordingly.

Serve hot hot either with steamed Rice or Phulka / Paratha.
