Cook the beef until tender. I used tendon meat.

Add the soft-boiled beef, thinly sliced onions, and shimeji mushrooms to a pot.

Add water to the broth from which the beef was boiled to make 400cc.

Add maggi bouillon, and bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes until the onions are soft

Remove some of the boiling liquid, dissolve the sour cream until smooth, and add it to the pot.

Dissolve the potato starch in water and add the stew while stirring to thicken. If it doesn't seem thick enough, add potato starch and water.

Serve with rice.
