Marmalade is made from pulp of fruits and in which lemon juice and sugar are used. Kids love it because of its delicious tangy taste and jelly-like texture. It can be spread on flat bread, bread, biscuits to prepare snacks.

Marmalade is made from pulp of fruits and in which lemon juice and sugar are used. Kids love it because of its delicious tangy taste and jelly-like texture. It can be spread on flat bread, bread, biscuits to prepare snacks.
Steps

Wash the mango, peel off the skin. Chop into pieces.

Grind or mash the mango chunks. In a nonstick skillet, transfer the mango pulp.

Add sugar and water. Start cooking on low flame and stir continuously.

Gradually the water evaporated and the mango pulp started thickening.

Now add normal salt, rock salt, dry ginger powder, lemon juice and mix well with the pulp. Further, stir continuously till a mass is ready. This is the final stage.

Allow to cool naturally and store in a clean and dried glass bottle for further use.
