Wash the potatoes and turnip. Slice and rewash.

Steam on a perforated gastro tray the potatoes and turnip in the oven for 15 minutes at 100 C.

Put to warm the cream on a pot, add some thyme, a and ground white pepper. Chop and add the onion. Cook for 10 minutes.

Make some garlic paste.

Put on a new tray the steamed potatoes and turnip. Spread the garlic paste. Add the cream and put the tray to roast in the oven for 30 minutes at 160 C.

Once cooked, take a round cutter and portion the gratin.
