I didn't get a plated picture because everyone ate it 😭 But this recipe can be made in less than 30 minutes and everyone will love it. Last night I was exhausted and this is perfect for those nights. What makes this so good to me is the fresh pureed tomatoes, just like biting into a burger.

Ingredients

less than 30 minutes
9 servings
  1. 3 poundshamburger meat
  2. 2pds shell pasta
  3. 1 poundOwen breakfast sausage
  4. 1/2diced onion
  5. 3 clovediced garlic
  6. 1 tspeach Garlic and onion powder
  7. 1 tspsmoked paprika (opinional)
  8. 2 cupsheavy cream
  9. 1 (10 Oz)rotel (do not drain)
  10. 2pureed fresh tomato
  11. 3 slicesAmerican cheese (Velveeta type)
  12. 1 cupthe pasta water
  13. Shredded cheese for topping
  14. Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Start browning hamburger meat and breakfast sausage

  2. 2

    Begin heating water for pasta

  3. 3

    Once meat is cooked > drain > add onion and garlic and cook until fragrant and onion is translucent

  4. 4

    Turn heat to low and heavy cream, rotel and pureed tomatoes, it should look like this

    Add your sliced cheese and stir > Taste and add salt/pepper if needed>turn heat on lowest setting and cover while pasta finishes

  6. 6

    Stir pasta and remove one cup before draining > add water to beef pot, it should look like this.

    Plate immediately with pasta and shredded cheese on top
