Ingredients

1 cup
  • 1 & 1/2 tablespoon bengal gram /chana dal
  • 1 & 1/2 tablespoon black gram / skinned urad dal
  • 1 tablespoonpigeon peas spilt /toordal
  • 8-10whole dry red chillies (adjest tastes)
  • 1/4 cup/4 tablespoon dry Coriander seeds
  • 3/4 tspoon dry fenugreek seeds / methi dana
  • 2spring curry leaves
  • 2 tspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tspoon black peper corns optional
  • 1/8 tspoon asafoetida powder
  • 1/4 tspoon turmeric powder

Steps

15 min.
  1. 1

    Clean lentils Coriander seeds cumin seeds
    Get ready with all ingredients

    Heat up pan dry roast lentils till lightly golden on low flame remove on plate keep aside
    Now roast coriander seeds keep aside on same plate

    Now roast dry red chillies remove on same plate keep aside roast the fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds

    Now wash and pat dry the curry leaves and dry roast till crunchy remove on same plate
    Let be all ingredients should be cool down completely on room temperature

    Take a blender jar add all ingredients and blend in fine powder again let them cool down add assofodeta and turmericpowder

    Mix everything well together
    Store them in airtight glass container or steel jar.
