Ingredients

  1. 1 cupMaash daal
  2. 1 tbspGarlic
  3. 1Onion
  4. 1 tspGinger
  5. 1 tspChilli powder
  6. 1 pinchBaking soda
  7. 3 cupsYoghurt
  8. 1 tspDried mint
  9. 2Green chillies
  10. Dahi bara masala as desired
  11. Oil to fry

Cooking Instructions

    Soak daal overnight with baking soda.

  2. 2

    Grind the daal with onion into a smooth paste.

  3. 3

    Mix ginger,garlic,salt and chilli powder in daal and leave it to rest for 1 hour.

    Heat oil in a wok.

  5. 5

    Put spoonfuls of mixture and fry till light golden.

  6. 6

    Soak the fritters in luke warm water till tender.

  7. 7

    Mix together yoghurt,salt,mint,green chillies and dahi bara masala.

  8. 8

    Mix together yoghurt and fritters.

  9. 9

    Serve straight away.
