Ingredients

30 minutes
1 Person
  • 200 gmilk and butter potato mash
  • 100 gthe contents of a tin Crab meat
  • 50 gbreadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • Plain Flour
  • 1(One) Duck egg or 2 hen eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp.Sunflower Oil

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Place 4 measurement tablespoons of Sunflower Oil in the largest of the Ninja non-stick Frying Pan or the Non-stick Tefal Frying Pan etc. Heat the Cooking Oil through on the lowest hob heat

  2. 2

    Combine the cold cooked mashed potato with the Crab meat and bit of breadcrumbs, add some salt too season. Form 4 balls and then dip into Plain Flour and then into the beaten egg and then into the breadcrumbs - add too the Frying Pan and then basically shallow fry on the lowest hob heat for no longer than 30 minutes - 14 minutes on each side and then a further 30 seconds on each side on the highest hob heat

    Transfer the Crab cakes to a Dinner Plate and then maybe serve with a sauce of Salad Cream or Mayonnaise

Before making the Crab cakes I did see a short video on Facebook of Fishcakes being made and some breadcrumbs were put in the fishy mash potato - am aware that breadcrumbs are used in the making of some kind of Beef burgers
