Ingredients

Serves 1 serving
  • 1 packyakisoba noodles
  • 50 gthinly sliced pork
  • Vegetables of your choice (this time ↓)
  • 1 leaf◆ Napa cabbage
  • 1/2◆ green bell pepper
  • 1/6◆ carrot
  • 1/3 pack◆ shimeji mushrooms
  • 1/6◆ green onion
  • 1 tablespoonvegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoonsmentsuyu (3x concentrated)
  • 2/3 cupwater (150ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoongrated ginger
  • 2-3 teaspoonspotato starch

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces.

    Lightly warm the noodles in the microwave. Heat about 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan, and without breaking apart the noodles, fry both sides until golden brown, then place them on a plate.

    In the frying pan, stir-fry the thinly sliced pork (this time using pork belly) and add the vegetables to stir-fry.

  4. 4

    Add mentsuyu and water to the frying pan from step 3, bring to a boil, and add grated ginger (or ginger juice).

  5. 5

    Dissolve potato starch in an equal amount of water and gradually add it while stirring with a ladle to thicken.

  6. 6

    Pour the hot thick sauce over the noodles, and it's ready to serve!
