This is a pumpkin that grew in my garden out of some seedling from the compost bin. It has been at home for a while and with my New year resolutions it will make a vegetable soup along with some carrots

This is a pumpkin that grew in my garden out of some seedling from the compost bin. It has been at home for a while and with my New year resolutions it will make a vegetable soup along with some carrots
Steps

Peel and chop vegetables. Add to slow cooker

Sautee onions in a bit of olive oil along with chopped garlic and ginger and half teaspoon of ground cloves
- 3
Add everything to slow cooker. Add vegetable stock and white wine
- 4
Cook for about 4-5 hours on high.

Leave to cool a bit and blend to desired texture.
