Ingredients

6-8 servings
  • 1long Cucumber
  • 1small apple
  • 2/3 poundbulk sausage
  • 1/3 cupsmoked hog jowls
  • 15 ouncecan of chickpea drained
  • 1/4 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  • to tastesalt
  • 1 cupsour cream
  • 1 tablespoondehydrated onions

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan sauté the jowls

    Add sausage and brown.

    Peel the Cucumber and remove seeds. Dice the apple removing core and blossom area.

  4. 4

    Add the seasonings, onions, chickpea, Cucumber, and apple, remove from heat.

    Add sour cream and mix cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
