All the ingredients are probably already in your fridge!

Without cutting, lightly stir-fry the shirataki noodles until dry.

Add the natto (mixed with its sauce) and stir-fry a bit more. It might look a little odd at this stage…

Add all the ingredients except the chili oil. Mix and simmer for a while. You can also add green onions or mushrooms if you like!

The natto really brings everything together! Plus, the natto flavor disappears, so even if you don’t like it, you’ll be fine.

Top with chili oil and black pepper to taste, and enjoy.
I’ve updated the amount of doubanjiang. Adjust the spiciness to your liking!
