Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  • 2-serving Sara Udon set (fried noodles)
  • 2 1/2 ozcabbage (about 70 grams)
  • 1 3/4 ozbean sprouts (about 50 grams)
  • 5or more green beans or snow peas
  • 3 1/2 ozpork (about 100 grams)
  • 5shrimp
  • 1 ozcarrot (about 30 grams)
  • 1small amount of wood ear mushrooms
  • Tentacles from 1 squid
  • 5quail eggs
  • 5 sliceskamaboko (fish cake)
  • 1 packetSara Udon soup base
  • 1 1/4 cupswater (about 300 ml, or as directed on the package)

Steps

    Gently loosen the noodles from the package and place them on a plate.

    Dissolve the included Sara Udon soup base in water and set aside.

    Cut the pork, kamaboko, shrimp, squid, and vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Stir-fry them. Boil the quail eggs for 5 minutes and peel them.

    Add the dissolved soup base to the stir-fried ingredients. Cook until the sauce thickens.

    Pour the hot mixture over the prepared noodles and serve immediately!
