This is a time saving cooking method of one of the all-time favourite Japanese dishes. It is absolutely easy and the result is guaranteed.
Steps

Place Water, Ginger, Sake (Rice Wine), Sugar and Soy Sauce in a pressure cooker.

Cut Pork Belly into 5cm cubes and add to the pressure cooker.

Cook for about 20 minutes under pressure. When the lid can be removed, simmer uncovered until the sauce thickens.

*If you don’t have a pressure cooker, add slightly more water and cook covered over medium low heat for 2 to 3 hours or until the meat is absolutely tender.
