I made marinated tuna with Yocchan Nanban, so I decided to mix in my favorite capers and make it into a tartare.

5 1/3 oz (150 g)lean tuna
1/2onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoonsYocchan Nanban (Japanese spicy pickled pepper paste)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespooncapers
1 tablespoonparsley, finely chopped
Black pepper, to taste

Steps

Finely chop the onion, soak it in water, then drain well. Cut the tuna into small pieces.

Mix all the ingredients together and let chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Serve on a plate, sprinkle with parsley, and garnish with lemon wedges (not included in ingredient list).
