First soaked chick pea for 8-10 hrs

Then boil soaked chick pea with add of water and salt to taste for 25-30 min or 4 whistle

After boiling of chick pea

Heat the oil in a pan add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, tomato and chilli saute for 3-4 min then cool it down then make smooth paste from it adding of anar dana(optional)

Then heat the oil in a pan add cumin seed,bay leaves, green cardamon, after crackle add 1/2 chopped onion slices fry till light brown then add paste saute for 2 min then add red chilli powder,chole masala powder, turmeric powder and salt saute for another 2-3 min

Then add boiled chick pea with water cover it with lid for 8-10 min

Then garnish with chopped coriander leaves and onion rings

With adding of salt first thing that we had used salt in boiling of chick pea after wards adding of salt take care how much amount of salt should be used

This Punjabi chole masala serve Hot with puri, naan, kulcha,bhature etc
