Easy Spicy Garlic Edamame
Is it still hot out? Do you have some leftover edamame in your fridge? This recipe was created as a way to use up a large amount of extra edamame.
Steps
- 1
Rinse the edamame and drain well.
- 2
Add the sesame oil to a skillet and heat over medium. If using garlic, add it now and let it infuse the oil with flavor.
- 3
Add the edamame and quickly stir-fry over medium heat. Cover and steam for 5 minutes. (If using pre-cooked edamame, you can skip this step.)
- 4
Remove the lid and stir-fry for another 4–5 minutes, until the pods are lightly browned.
- 5
Turn off the heat, add the kimchi base sauce, and toss to coat evenly. Enjoy!
