Ingredients

Serves 1 serving
  • 1 handfulfresh edamame (cooked or uncooked)
  • 1 teaspoontoasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoonkimchi base sauce (or chili sauce)
  • Garlic paste, to taste (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Rinse the edamame and drain well.

  2. 2

    Add the sesame oil to a skillet and heat over medium. If using garlic, add it now and let it infuse the oil with flavor.

    Add the edamame and quickly stir-fry over medium heat. Cover and steam for 5 minutes. (If using pre-cooked edamame, you can skip this step.)

    Remove the lid and stir-fry for another 4–5 minutes, until the pods are lightly browned.

    Turn off the heat, add the kimchi base sauce, and toss to coat evenly. Enjoy!
