Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Roll pastry and cut into 6 inch square. Peel and core apples and place one on each square

Add brown sugar, raisins, pecans, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon zest and juice to bowl and mix. Fill each apple core. Top each with teaspoon butter. Egg wash the edges of pastry, bring edges up and fold over top of apple pressing to seal. Brush on remaining egg wash to entire outside.

Bake about 30 minutes until golden brown.

Make glaze. Add powered sugar, butter, 1/4 cup water to small pan over medium heat. Cook, stirring until butter is melted and sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Brush glaze over apples, serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
