Ingredients

  1. 3 packsfrozen udon noodles
  2. 1 bagmixed vegetables
  3. Salt and pepper, to taste
  4. 2 teaspoonsdashi powder
  5. 1 tablespoonsake (or dry cooking wine)
  6. 1 tablespoonwhite dashi (or light soy sauce)
  7. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  8. Bonito flakes
  9. 1 tablespoontoasted sesame oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Add the sesame oil to a skillet, then add the mixed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper and sauté until the vegetables are tender.

  2. 2

    Heat the frozen udon noodles in the microwave until warmed through.

  3. 3

    Add the warmed udon noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the sake and dashi powder, then mix well.

  4. 4

    Once everything is well sautéed, add the white dashi and soy sauce. Stir-fry a bit more.

  5. 5

    Top with bonito flakes and serve.
