This #puff pastry sweeties is popular in Iran. It's pretty easy and quick prepare. It is called ' #shirini Zaban' in Farsi language.

Ingredients

  1. Puff pastry
  2. 3 tbsp.honey
  3. 2 tbsp.rose water
  4. 2 tbsp.sugar
  5. 1 tspsteamed saffron
  6. Crushed pistachio, sesami seeds or coconut powder

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the oven to 200C. In a bowl, combine the honey with rose water (or warm water), and steamed saffron. Mix well and set aside.

    Unfold puff pastry on your counter.

    By a sharp cutter, cut the pastry into triangular.

    Or circle pieces.

    Place the cut out pieces in the baking tray.With a knife make a lengthwise cut in the centre of each piece.With a brush, lightly brush pastry pieces with honey syrup.

    Place the baking train in the oven and let bake for 5 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 180C degree and bake them for 15- 20 minutes, until it golden and puffed. Then remove from the oven, let it cool.

    Then brush with honey syrup again and Sprinkle some sugar. crushed pistachio, sesame seeds or coconut powder top of sweeties. It is done. Serve it with
