Red Rice Pulao

Wash 1 cup red rice with and soak in water for 30 minutes. To save time, take 3 glasses of water in a pressure cooker,add a Tsp salt and the soaked red rice. Cook for 1 whistle and slow down the flame. Cook for 10 minutes. Allow to cool down naturally.

Arrange the required ingredients. Heat oil in a wide pan. Add and allow to sizzle cumin seeds. Fry onion and curry leaves.

Then mix green chillies and the chopped vegetables. Fry for a minute on low flame and add ginger garlic paste. Saute the veggies well.

Create a space in the pan and saute the garam masala prepared, coriander powder and cumin powder. Saute till aromatic.
Then add salt and sugar and cook red rice. Mix well with the ingredients.

Switch off the flame, add lemon juice and garnish with mint leaves and serve. Thanks
