Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat until it turns golden yellow. Be careful not to burn the butter. Let it cool

Combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt and matcha powder in a mixing bowl. Set aside

Add light brown sugar and granulated sugar to the melted butter. Once well-combined, add the egg and vanilla. Whisk until you get a light and creamy mixture for a crisp and chewy cookie!

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the well-mixed wet ingredients. Add in the white chocolate chips

Let the dough rest in the fridge for minimum 30 minutes

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C

Line the baking sheet with non-stick parchment paper. Shape the dough into little balls and place them on the baking sheet 2-3 inch apart

Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before transferring them on a cooling rack. Enjoooy!
