Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmixed vegetables
  2. 2 cupsshredded chicken
  3. 1 cupdiced onion
  4. 1/2 cupheavy whipping cream or half and half
  5. 2 cupsvegetable stock
  6. 1/8 cupall-purpose flour
  7. 1 canbiscuit dough
  8. 2 tablespoons of softened butter
  9. 1/2 tsprosemary
  10. 1/2 tspthyme
  11. 1 tsponion powder
  12. 1 tspsalt
  13. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  14. 1/2 tspparsley

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375*. In a large skillet add butter and onions. Sauté onions until translucent in appearance.

    Add flour into skillet and whisk together. Flour should absorb the butter. Slowly whisk in vegetable stock until well combined. Stirring constantly let thicken for about two minutes.

    Whisk in half and half and add seasonings. Add in chicken and frozen vegetables. Let simmer, stirring occasionally for five minutes.

    Transfer into a baking dish. Top with biscuits dough. Bake in oven for 20 minutes (or until biscuits have turned golden brown.) Cover with tinfoil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.

    Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Serve alongside your favorite side dish or by itself!
