In a saucepan, pour the water and sugar, simmer until the sugar is completely melted. Add orange color and stir to mix. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes.

To the syrup, add boondi, allow to sit until the syrup is well absorbed.

Serve with other salty snacks along with a beverage.
