Ingredients

  1. 2.2 lbsflour (1 kilogram)
  2. 2eggs
  3. 2 cupsmilk (about 480 ml)
  4. 1 cupoil (about 240 ml)
  5. 4 tablespoonssugar
  6. 4 tablespoonsyeast
  7. Pinchsalt
  8. Butter for layering
  9. 2 packetsbaking powder
  10. Water as needed for kneading

Steps

    Combine all the ingredients except the butter in a stand mixer and knead well until you have a soft dough.

  2. 2

    Let the dough rise for 1 hour. Then divide it into 4 large balls, and divide each large ball into 4 smaller balls.

  3. 3

    Roll out each small ball, brush with butter, stack them, and roll out into a large circle. Cut the circle into triangles and fill with your desired filling.

  4. 4

    Place the croissants on a baking sheet and let them rise for 15 minutes. Brush the tops with egg and bake in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy!
