Combine all the ingredients except the butter in a stand mixer and knead well until you have a soft dough.

Let the dough rise for 1 hour. Then divide it into 4 large balls, and divide each large ball into 4 smaller balls.

Roll out each small ball, brush with butter, stack them, and roll out into a large circle. Cut the circle into triangles and fill with your desired filling.

Place the croissants on a baking sheet and let them rise for 15 minutes. Brush the tops with egg and bake in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Enjoy!
