Ingredients

6 servings 1R
  • 1 poundground beef
  • 1/3 cupbeef broth
  • 1/2 cuponion
  • 3 clovesgarlic
  • 1/3 cupcarrots
  • 1/3 cupred bell pepper
  • 1/3 cupcelery
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 1 tablespoontomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoonThyme
  • 1/2 teaspoonChili Powder
  • 2 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoonsea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper
  • 1large egg
  • 1/4 cupsPablo bread crumbs

Steps

  1. 1

    Food processor - onions, garlic, carrots, bell pepper, celery together

  2. 2

    Add oil to pan and sauté vegetables on medium high heat for 4 to 6 minutes. Add tomato paste, thyme, and chili powder. Cook for 1 minute.

  3. 3

    Turn off heat. Add Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt and pepper. Allow to cool.

  4. 4

    Mix meat, egg, bread crumbs and sauce together to form loaf.

  5. 5

    Bake in a 325 degree oven for 38 to 42 minutes.
