A fun and different way to enjoy meat... These pinwheels are filled with cooked ham, provolone cheese, and spinach. They cook quickly and stay flavorful and juicy.
Steps
- 1
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until you have a smooth, even mixture. Then, spread it out with your hands on a sheet of parchment paper, shaping it into a rectangle. Wash the spinach and cook it in a skillet with a little water and a pinch of vegetable seasoning for about 5 minutes.
- 2
Lay the slices of ham, chopped spinach, and cheese over the meat. Roll it up tightly using the parchment paper, and seal the ends by twisting the paper. Place the roll in the freezer for 30 minutes or in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- 3
After chilling, take out the roll, slice it into pinwheels, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle a little olive oil over the pinwheels. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes. If you like, you can also sprinkle some seeds, such as flax seeds, on top.
- 4
And that's it—dinner is ready to enjoy.
