My ‘Super Quick Pizza Base’ can be made in five minutes, but the texture is inferior as it is made with baking powder. Today I wanted to make a nice crusty Pizza Base quickly. This ‘Easy Pizza Base’ took me 30 minutes, mostly waiting time, and it was nice and crusty. You can easily multiply this recipe, OR try my daughter’s ‘Sachi’s Pizza Dough’ recipe.

Ingredients

30 minutes
1 X 28cm Pizza Base
  1. 1& 1/4 cups Bread Flour *OR Plain Flour
  2. 1/2 teaspoonDry Yeast
  3. 1/8 teaspoonSugar
  4. 1/4 teaspoonSalt
  5. 1/2 cupWARM Water
  6. 1/2 tablespoonOlive Oil *OR Oil of your choice

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, add WARM Water and Oil, mix well, and knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and set aside in a warm place for 20 to 30 minutes. *Note: Prepare sauce and toppings while you wait.

    Flatten the dough and stretch out into a round, then arrange the sauce and toppings.
