Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cupcooking oil
  2. 1/4 cupminced garlic
  3. 1/4 cupginger, finely chopped
  4. 1 cupchopped onions
  5. 1/4 cupfish sauce
  6. 2 tablespoonsalamang guisado
  7. 2 tablespoonsachuete powder
  8. 4chicken breast fillets cut in bite size pieces
  9. 4 pcsbay leaves
  10. 1 cupglutinous rice (malagkit)
  11. 3-5 literswater
  12. 1-2 pcschicken broth cubes or 1-2 tbsp chicken powder
  13. salt, pepper, more fish sauce to taste
  14. Garnish: hard boiled eggs, toasted garlic, chopped spring onions

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Sauté all ingredients in a large pot then add the rice and water. Add the chicken powder or cube.

    Let it cook and simmer for 30 minutes checking and stirring in between to prevent sticking to the pot. Add more water as needed.

    While you’re waiting you can boil some eggs, chopped some green onions and toast some garlic for garnish.

    When it’s ready. Put it in a bowl and add your garnish. Share and enjoy!
