Steps
- 1
Wash the vegetables together and cut.
- 2
Pour one and half cups of water in a sufuria or cooking pot and put over medium heat. Allow the water to boil for 5 minutes and then add the baking powder this is to soften the vegetables.
- 3
After one minute add vegetables and cover and allow to simmer for 10 minutes while stirring from time to time until it cooked or soft. Then remove from heat.
- 4
Put some oil in another cooking pot or sufuria and then add chopped onions and put over medium heat. Allow the onions to cook until they are golden brown then add chopped tomatoes. Then add the cooked vegetables and salt.
- 5
Stir the mixture and leave to cook for 5 minutes. Then add milk and let it boil for 5 minutes. Then serve with Ugali or Rice. As for me I used a traditional cooking pot. Enjoy!!
