Ingredients

prep. time 15 minutes, cooking time 10 minutes
2 servings
  1. 12palak leaves
  2. 12small cubes paneer
  3. 5 tspbesan
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. 2 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1 tspgaram masala
  7. 1 tspcurd
  8. 1/2 tsphing
  9. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  10. Oil to deep fry pakoda
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Water as required

Steps

prep. time 15 minutes, cooking time 10 minutes

    Wash palak and blanch it in boiling water only for 15 seconds. Strain out all water in the strainer. Pour cold water and strain it again. Cut paneer in cubes.

    Add curd, salt, gram flour, red chilli powder, ginger garlic chilli paste, mustard oil, and garam masala, Mix well. Keep aside for 5 minutes to marinate.

    Take a blanched palak leaf, put marinated paneer in it, fold all side of palak and make a pocket to cover all side of paneer. Keep ready all palak paneer pockets to fry in batches.

    Take a mixing bowl, add besan, salt, red chilli powder, hing, and water to make a besan batter to deep coat pakoda.

    Heat a kadai, add oil, on a medium high flame fry all pakodas in batches. Sprinkle chaat masala on it.

    Enjoy with tomato ketchup, garlic chutney, or green chillies chutney.

At the age of 18, I got married to a huge joint family and started my new journey. My family loves my dishes and appreciates me. Especially my husband and my son. So, day by day, I improved myself, and today, cooking is my hobby, my passion. My husband, Mr. Kamal Sampat always supports and motivates me.
