Mixed sprouts pulao is a healthy Indian lunch box idea for both kids and adults. You can use any one kind of sprout too in the same recipe. This is a super healthy and delicious pulao recipe which is very easy to cook and is a great lunch box option for kids. It can be prepared in open pot and in pressure cooker too within a little time.

First of all, wash the mung beans and Moth beans and soak it in water overnight and in the morning drain all the water from it and tie it in a cloth and keep it in a warm place for 24 hours.

After that, wash the basmati rice with clean water and soak it in clean water for 10 to 15 minutes.

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add black pepper corns, cinnamon stick, cloves and bay leaf to it, add cumin seeds, then add onion slices to it and heat it on medium flame of gas.

Now add sprouted mung beans and sprouted moth beans to this and mix. After that add ginger garlic paste and salt to it and mix well and saute on high flame of gas for 3 to 4 minutes.

Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander cumin powder and garam masala and mix it.

Now add soaked basmati rice to this and mix well. Add water as required and mix well, cover the pressure cooker lid and cook the pulao for 4 to 5 whistle on medium flame of gas.

Now our very healthy and nutritious mixed sprouts pulao is ready to serve. Garnish this pulao with green coriander leaves and serve hot.
