Sometimes magic happens by just bringing several simple ingredients together . This is one such recipe, simple, fast, & super delicious . It is very close to the heart ❤️💜 of Japan.
Wasabi Peas have a certain taste in them which I cannot name , but gives you a kick . It is very different .
It is similar to taste of hot mustard & unique & intense. It stimulates the nose more than the tongue.
Wasabi Peas are great alternative snacks compared to other junk foods .They are a source of protein & fiber . Great to put out at parties 🎉 or have next to you at your computer. They are also known to have memory boosting powers .
Capsicum : 🫑manages blood sugar , cancers & heals wounds . Capsicum is rich in manganese & is essential in bone mineralisation . Red capsicum is rich in Calcium .
Chena : has more water in it than paneer . So it is softer than paneer .It is a protein source, keeps heart ❤️ healthy , improves insulin response
& helps produce red blood cells. It is best eaten at breakfast or at snack time . It is Calcium Rich.
In this recipe I have used chena to cut down the spice in Wasabi Peas . You can gorge only on Wasabi Peas if you wish .
This is a Japanese starter/ side dish/ appetizer that can be had with sake , beer or soda .

Rinse all the veggies except for carrots & pat dry them.

Take the veggies except for the carrots, in a bowl. Add Wasabi Peas. Give it a toss.

Serve immediately with a few carrot strips in a shot glass 🥃& nachos chips. As chena is used in this dish, it makes this salad Calcium Rich.
