  • 200 gramsgreen leafy fenugreek
  • 1small bowl tuvar dal
  • 2 tablespoonbesan
  • 3 tablespoontamarind pulp
  • 2red chilli
  • 1 tablespoonoil
  • 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  • 1 pinchasafoetida
  • 3 teaspoonsalt
  • 3garlic cloves

  1. 1

    Wash fenugreek leaves 2 - 3 times and remove excess water.

    Wash tuval dal and in a cooker take 3 whistles.

    Cut fenugreek leaves and cook them properly.

    Now mash both,tuvar dal and fenugreek leaves. Add besan, cooked tuvar dal.and mix well

    In a kadai heat oil,add mustard seeds, once splutter, add asafoetida, garlic cloves, red chillies and let them.blend properly.

    Now add fenugreek mixture cook.for 2- 3 minutes and add tamarind pulp and cook again for 2- 3 minutes and serve hot.
