Wash, peel and grate the Chayote and discard the seed.

Heat 1 tsp of ghee in a heavy bottomed pan & fry the cashew nuts pieces until they turn slightly brownish.

Keep aside for garnishing.

Add water in the thick bottom Pan... Melt sugar (2 cups) in a pan till it's all done.

Now add grated Chayote & Sauté in low flame, sauté until the raw smell goes away.

Add Keasri powder (its food powder) and stir occasionally.

Now add ghee and stir continuously till the halwa comes together in a mass without sticking to the pan.

Stir Continuously till it comes to this Consistency.

Finally, Garnish with Cashews.
