Note:
first wash the chana dal (Chickpeas) and soak in water for 8 hour or more. Heat a pressure cooker and add the chana dal and water, cook for 3 to 4
whistles. Once done, strain the water from the chana dal.Grind Chana dal (split chickpea) (Kadalai Paruppu) to smooth paste.

Meanwhile, mashed the boiled potato. Keep Aside.

Heat a teaspoon of oil add onions. Sauté it tills it become slightly brown.

Now add chana dal paste (blended smooth paste).

Add Gram masala, Chili Powder, Turmeric powder and Add Pinch of Salt.

Start mushing continuously.

Now turn off the stove, add boiled mashed potatoes and mix together.

Add besan flour and bring it look dough shape.

Take each portion and roll into any shape that you like for cutlets. I made small cylindrical shapes.
Finish shaping all the cutlets.

Now dip all cutlets with breadcrumbs for crispiness.
Finally, all cutlets are ready to fry.

Heat a tawa put some oil and fry the Chana Dal Aloo Cutlet from both side for 5 minutes each.

Till they turn golden brown in color. Make sure you fry on low to medium heat to get a perfect Crispiness.

Finally, Crispy Chana Cutlet is ready for serve.
