Ingredients

15 minutes + 1 hour chilling

  1. 4large ripe tomatoes
  2. 1Italian green bell pepper
  3. 1/2 sweet onion
  4. 1small cucumber
  5. 2 garlic cloves
  6. A generous splash of sherry vinegar
  7. A generous splash of olive oil
  8. Salt
  9. 1 1/4 cups cold water (about 300 ml)
  10. Ice cubes (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the tomatoes, cut them into quarters, and add them to a blender.

    Peel the garlic cloves, remove the core to make them milder, and add to the blender.

    Clean the green bell pepper, remove the seeds and white parts, cut into quarters, and add to the blender.

    Peel the cucumber, cut into quarters, and add to the blender along with the peeled onion.

    Add the water, olive oil, sherry vinegar, and salt. Add ice cubes if desired. Blend for 3 minutes.
